Body lift is more complicated as you will need to check everything and extend those that wont reach - ie brake lines, steering shaft etc. On an RRC you can get away with a 1" bl and do almost nothing but i'm not sure about disco's.Quote:

Guy's if it was not for the fact that I am flying to the UK I would have bought my parts from the US.
I buy alot of golf gear from the US and while the dollar is up its the best time to buy.

I use lift kits from LRA.http://www.lrautomotive.com.au/23.html They not cheap, but have all you need to get it engineered.May be cheaper in the long run. Some US stuff is not compliant. Rovertym are awsome and I've used some of there gear but.... Talk to an engineer 1st.
I have just done my D1 V8 with an off the shelf lift (king springs and shocks) and fitted 265/75x16 MT's. It has made a massive difference to the height, over three inches in total maybe due to the fact that the old springs were pretty sagged. The only thing that Ive had to do was trim the rear gaurds a little for the tyres. Nothing else so far
are there any issues with the steering kit on the LHD disco being different to the RHD? Just a thought, that kit is miiighty tempting... the only problem is, if i get a 2" spring lift and 2" body lift, my 245's will look too small! i'll have to get some of these NAS Discovery Tdi muhuhahahahaaaaaQuote:
