    Tdi EGR Fact or Fiction?

    Fellow GreenOvallers

    Can anyone tell me if the Australian 300Tdi engines (Disco 1) came with an EGR system fitted.

    If so, has anybody got any first hand feedback of:

    Increased take off power
    Less smoke emissions
    Better Fuel Economy

    I bypassed the EGR on my last 4X4 (Toyota Surf) and there was a noticable improvement, but in that case the EGR was added to older engine technology.

    Am thinking of doing it to the Disco if the improvement was as noticable. I would be interested to hear from any L/R owners who have tried it
