Fit more comfy seats to 98 TDi?

    Hi All,
I have just bought my first Disco, a 98 SE TDi. While I like it a lot, I would like some slightly comfier seats. They are not bad, but I have some back problems and would prefer not to bounce up and down quite so firmly. Are there other seats that will bolt straight in from a later Disco or from a Range Rover that are softer? Or is there some other solution?

    Thanks, Erik

The ES D1 model leather seats are quite nice compared to the SE ones.. A mate has an ES and I notice the difference.. They also have full electrics and are heated. I think you MAY find the wiring is already installed just need to fit the switches.

My D1 is an SE7 with gray leather seats and they are fantastic.
I guess they were an optional extra, standard on the ES.

Thanks Ron and Wayne. The leather seats from an ES or SE7 sound like the easiest fix. Next question is where do I get them from in (or to) SA at a reasonable price and what is a reasonable price?

If in SA the first place to try would be Triumph Rovers Spares (TRS) out at Lonsdale.
