If you were to park on the Hastings/Dandenong Road for 24 hours & counted the LPG tankers heading out of Hastings you will hit triple figures before 20 hours.
These tankers are loading LPG at the ESSO BHP facility. Esso refine the LPG from the natural gas before its used in Melbourne. Kleenheat Gas do the same in Perth ( & ship the Butane to overseas markets)
Oh and yes, its also a petroleum by product- about 20% of the market.
