The offset rims will save you having to adjust your steering and you should have full range of motion.. but the offset is the reason for the body cut and it hitting.

    Hi Matt,
Swapped the Jt2,s 4 bfg265/75,s. Only about 4mm taller but heaps wider & am now struggling 2 make them fit.
Still got another set of Sumitmo serengettis 31x10.5r15 if your interested.
    Going cheap.
    Cheers Dean.

This is the link to the BF website for tyre sizes.

    Have a look yourself!

Save it as well. I keep a copy on hand.

The thing thats driving me nuts is the loss of turning circle which is terrible. The radius arms cop a beating on most roundabouts so I know I,ll go crazy in the bush. Do u have offset rims? they look standard in the pic.
    Cheers Dean.
Hi Dean, no other mods and i havent even touched the steering stops (only rubs when on full lock on one side) my springs give close to a 3" lift. Was up at Toolangi a few weeks ago and even before i had to winch myself up some steep rocky steps i didnt have any scrubbing. Rims are stock steelies.

    Hmmm, there must be 265,s & 265,s.
Also talked 2 a guy just around the corner from me , also with a 97 Disco, just fitted 265/75 Bighorns, he to has no issues with rubbing on the radius arms 4 him & u, 4 me.
When I got the Bfg,s I only got 4. I then bought a 235/85 bfg mud (second hand & cheap) as a spare, its virtually the same rolling diameter.
I have tried it on the front & at full lock it doesnt touch the arms.
Perhaps I could get another & have 235,s on the front, 265,s on the back.
Would,nt that be or maybe just a fool or even a tool
Theoretically I spose it would work but I dont think its really the way 2 go.
    I,ll keep working on it.
    Cheers Dean.

Ended up adjusting the steering stops & will just have 2 learn 2 live with it.
Hopefully no other rubbing but that wont be conclusive untill a hard run in the bush, its gunna be close.
I spose its only the right handers that propose any probs apart from the occasional hard left in the bush, now I guess I know how the 130 guys feel.
My missus drives the car on a daily basis & if its an issue, I could re-adjust the stops & adjust them again when I go bush with the 265,s. It only takes a few secs & if thats my biggest worrie things are,nt 2 bad.
    Cheers Dean.
