Agreed Tim, great fun and they drive well. I'm old enough to think power steering and mirrors make it a great "modern" car. Add the fact that there's plenty of room and I can work on her and know my way around most of the engine bay and I'm like a pig in - well you get the message. :DQuote:

As I said swmbo thinks I am losing my marbles but you like what you like and the only thing I'd swap her for now would be a Defender. If they made an auto (runs for cover from the "real" 4wd'ers) I'd buy one tomorrow. swmbo would then be able to drive her and that would seal the deal. If I have learnt anything in 33 years of marriage it's that it's very important to keep swmbo sweet. :cool:
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that both the LR's and me were born in Solihull ! :o
