I've got the Bighorns in 245/75 16's, fantastic, paid 1000 bucks for 4 of them in Newcastle, sorry can't help you with up north, but I'd imagine pretty much any tyre stealer would be able to get Maxxis brand in if they don't already stock them.

And excellent looking Disco too Treads, resembles mine quite a bit, only mines a gold colour.

    Cheers

    Playing again:

The ruts were just an inch too deep on the exit

    Tulip to the rescue

She was quite chuffed after doing the recovery, although I could have winched myself out

Went out with the RFS cadets on a three day bivouac in the Styx SF earlier this week. Performed 3 hazard reduction burns and completed the cadets basic firefighter assessments. As well as this we drove as many fire trails as we could to check them before the fire season. Was a great few days of 4wding

    My overnight setup

After this my Disco was first through any obstacle

    Spotted in it's natural environment

    Pumping training at Wattle Flat

It was a great experience for a couple of our appliance drivers too, especially having to put up with manhandling our old training trucks around the bush

Not a lot of hard driving in Styx, but it's a very pretty place and the camping area are good and clean.

Here's something i put together from our wet weekend up there, this was an AULRO/Australia4wd combined forum gathering.

There are a few harder trails, it mostly depends on the weather conditions. In your video I recognised Boundary trail, it can be quite interesting in the wet We love the place too.

It's a shame I'm instructing a fire brigade course this weekend, otherwise I'd head down for one of the days to meet you. I'll be spending a week down around East and West Kunderang at the end of this month. I can't wait to be back down there!

I am thinking of it, it will need to be a 4 day weekend for us because of the distance from here, but we will be going back that's for sure.

In that vid the 3 talking and laughing, that Dullbird and Muddymech (Ian & Lou AULRO) and Miraz (Jeff Aust4wd), that was Ian and Lous first camping trip in Australia.

You never know we might decide to come down that weekend to
We usually try to get down there 2-3 times a year
