    Hi Treads

The photos look great and the disco is looking good to. Do you have any photos of how your winch mounts with the TJM bar as I don't quite understand how the mounting bracket works for them. Also what brand is your steering gaurd as I wouldn't mind getting one myself.

    Cheers

    Hi mate,
I don't have any photos at the moment; however I'll try to explain. The winch is a TJM Ox9500 that mounts feet forward against the TJM steel winch bar. The lower two holes are also used for securing the fairlead. I was told by TJM that it was fine to mount up to a 10,000Lb winch like this in an airbag vehicle. For a 12,000Lb winch they recommend the use of a separate mounting cradle between the chassis rails.

The steering guard is a bearmach alloy guard I purchased from: http://myworld.ebay.com.au/garyclr4wd/

Gary is also an AULRO member, can't remember his username, something similar to his ebay one. I've bought quite alot of stuff from him.

    Cheers

I got mine through my local bridgestone dealer here in Armidale. $265ea, which may be a tad on the dear side.
