    Disco in 4WD Action Mag

In the latest 4WD action magazine issue 126 there is a nice looking D1. I noticed that there are two steel cables running from what looks like the diff up in front of the grill and then attach to the top tube of the bar. Can anyone tell me what these would be used for. The first time I didn't even notice them but now that I have I'm intrigued.

Yeah I was wondering what they were for. I thought they might be supporting a bash plate or something...

I remember seeing the cables advertised as being used to place the 'recovery points' on the front axle housing. I think they were sold by the people who sold the Zeus gears for the Tdi300. Can't find any entry on www.yican.com.au maybe it was on a LRC Vic site....
