Thread: Thermo fan keeps running.

last night I pulled up at the shop and I noticed my thermo fans were still running. They were still runnig 10 minutes later when I came out.
Anyway drove home pulled into the drive and they were still humming away!
I disconnected the battery, has anyone experienced this before? and what would your advise be in fixing this problem.

If you have a Disco 2, that problem will be "oil in the injector harness", pull the ECU out and check for oil on the plugs, the red plug is the one to look at.

A very common problem in TD5s.

You can clean it (very long process) or get a new one and clean the old one at your leasure and keep it as a spare.

The injector loom is quite cheap for the D2 compared too the Defender, Karcraft are the cheapest.
