Long Range tank for my Disco

yes pics would be good from any body
also if any boddy has long range tanks for sale wether it be sill or other, i would like to know i want to pack as much fuel as posible in my tdi disco it dont get used off road hard i have a dihatsu scat for that but i do go fishing regularly and like going on long runs (make my own fuel) and it would save me carting my 1000lt tank on a tralor

I am getting a TA 47 shortly. Can you tell me if installation will requires access to the rear cargo area at all? I am hoping it is all fitted up externally.

I'm assuming you already have the TR47? On the Disco2 at least, the companion tank is all external work. Access to the boot area was just to work on the pump and fuel lines. I would assume the same for the D1.

Thats right already have the TR47.
Im told there is no pump required its a gravity feed into main tank.

The general design is probably the same as the D2. The filler has a T in it over the companion tank, so it automatically fills both tanks. In the bottom of the main and companion tanks at the sides there is a little hose that allows the fuel to draw from the companion tank into the main tank and so the levels are usually the same (unless you're stuck on a side slope which I have actually managed to do and ran the pump dry!)
