    Talking very deformed filter

    As most of you know I went on an Otways trip with a few of the boys this last weekend. With one of the bog holes i hit i filled the air box with water . Checked the filter afterwords and it was pretty wet but still fine . Got stuck in another bog hole and done the same thing . Didn't check the filter this time as i thought it will just be the same . Went out a couple of hours ago and thought i would take the filter out and go get a new one .This is what i pulled out of the air box .......




    I have never seen a filter do this before .

    Well it is paper...and it will suck up water like a sponge! I did the same thing with mine on my Simpson trip.

    A snorkel is one of the things i need to get for Elmo . But for some reason the kids want Christmas presents so i have to wait until next year

    hey mick I did notice she was starting to smoke a bit on the second day, least we know why now. I have seen that happen at work alot of the underground CAT machines the filters get get so full of dust the round donaldson filters end up square untiil the machine can't even drive up a hill.
    Time for a new one.
