    300TDi exhausts

Guy's, the Disco I have purchased for the missus is great but at the end of the day it's gutless, my isuzu defender eats it (not a good look). And I mean that in the most respectfull way that I can say it, I absaloutly love the Disco! I wish it was mine and not the missus. It's just gutless, and dangerously gutless
I'm looking into exhausts at the moment, I'm unsure as to just get a 2.5" straight through system or go for the 3". I'll be doing adjustments to the pump ( within reason ) and prob. look at new injectors as well.
For those that have made the step, what are peoples thoughts on the exhaust side of things.

    Cheers fellas

I can't comment on the exhaust side of things, but if its gutless, there's a problem. I'd get those injectors first, get a diesel injection place to check the pump calibration and have it well set up.

I have the standard exhaust with all the standard muffler,s removed and just a hot dog muffler in place of the main muffler

No big gains the only gain is on spool up from take off not neck snapping but a slight improvement

Yea I've pulled the main muffler off and replace it with a piece of pipe. I have left the rear little feller on though. I have noticed the turbo spool up sooner but not from 1000rpm thought. I'm awaiting on the adapter to turn up so I can throw the injectors onto the tester at the shop, so that will be the next step.
Dose just having the hot dog on reduce the noise down enough?

    cheers
