So with the hotdog ill still get the quicker spool, and deeper sound with the turbo whistle through the exhaust?

How much would it set me back?

    Hope to here from yas!

I wouldn't cut. Unbolt the mid muffler, get a muffler shop to make up a straight through or hotdog with the same flanges, then if it doesn't suit your prefs you can easily bolt the original muffler back on.

    Too easy

If you want turbo noise, this is the best type of exhaust. Turbo sounds great. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmQNa...eature=related

Cheers guys sounds like a plan!

Ill book Grover in tomorrow, these up coming days will see some big changes

I'm mostly playing with the exhaust to get the whistle noise of the turbo and the quicker spool! not so keen on making him too loud, the last thing a P plater wants is to be heard!

Called my local exhaust guy he said to do it with a "hotdog" would cost $120, and to just put a pipe straight through will only cost $45. He ensures me it shouldn't be too loud so i decided to go with the cheap option!

Booked in at 8am tomorrow then ill drive over and put the tyres on

    G'day Grover

Glad to hear you're getting the tyres sorted, spoke to Scotty last night, said he was highly appreciative of giving him a chance and was hoping he could help with anything else.

Am very interested with your exhaust mods as well. My centre muffler is well...ahem...modified slightly . So have been toying with the idea of doing a straight pipe replacment as well.

    Cheers
