    '97 Disco will not start

    Hey groovers,

    Got a problem....
Pulled the battery out to use it in my tractor.
Put it back in and now my disco won't start.
It turns over but will not start.
    Checked battery....its reading 12.54.
    Any ideas?

    cheers

    try another battery..........

    it could be damaged.

possibly something has got upset from the removal of the battery for a long period.....but I don't know what as there is not alot to really go wrong on the power side of things

    Start with the basics.

Do you have a good spark while cranking?

Can you hear the fuel pump while cranking? You should hear it for a couple of seconds when the ign is first turned on too.

    Ditto.

Lock & arm the vehicle and then unlock to reset the immobilizer.

In my experiences with imobilzers if its playing up it wont allow the car to get as far as turning over...only had dash lights and thats it.

Anyway glad you got it sorted
