Go the gas injection you wont regret it - although your bank account might following the initial purchase.
BTW it will be banked injection and not sequential due to the efi system on the 94 model. You will notice a very slight hesitation when the vehicle changes from one fuel to the other, but apart from that you wouldn't know the difference.
The only problem I have with my gas injected 94 disco is lack of range if you want to go touring. The solution to that is to fit twin 40 litre sill tanks but i haven't done that yet.

Hello All,
Sorry for the slow response I have been away. Whilst the advice leaned towards a ring vaporiser, I went for the sequential / banked injection with a small petrol auxiliary, despite the hit on the bank account.Wrt range, I will carry some jerry-cans and stop every 50k for a refill, until I can afford a pair of under-sill tanks.
The vehicle will be back with me shortly and I will post a report, with some photo’s. Thanks again, for the advice.
I Have had four LPG powered vehicles and with LPG you get what you pay for.My D1 V8 has SI and I wouldn't trade it for anything, the cheaper systems do a good job but my set-up has twin sill tanks with 55 useable ltrs that gets me 280-290k's and the engine idles, runs and has more go on gas than petrol. My conversion cost $4800 plus, plugs, leads etc and doesn't backfire except for once when it had a dodgy coil lead. Pat
I have a D1 94 model on gas. I find that is great. 2 x35 litre under tanks are ok. However it is frustrating if u want to go touring you need to work out where gas supplies are. Im getting around 260 - 280 city driving and just over 300 km's highway. but i cant fault the gas system. Once i had a backfire issue it was a dodgy lead. but yeah i like the $20 -30 fo fill the sucker deal
IT IS ABSOLUTLY USLES HOOKING UP A VALVE SAVER SYSTEM TO A DISCO BECAUSE IT WILL ONLY LUBE ONE OR TWO CYLINDERS AS INSDE THE INTAKE THERE ARE 8 RISERS AND ONLY ONE OR TWO HAVE A SMALL HOLE IN THE BOTTOM TO BURN CRANKCASE OIL AND THE LUBE . NO POINT DRILLING MORE HOLES CAUSE THE LUBE WILL ONLY RUN TO THE LOWER CYLNDERS. STICK IT IN THE PETROL INSTEAD AND USE YOU FUEL TO AVOID INJECTOR FOULING AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH
