I dont like the way the Safari setup joins the air cannister, on the side, the air is designed to come in the front, I have the round tin air box with the trumpet, so if you have the same, think about setting it up like mine, will post a pic, Regards Frank.

Yeah i have the square air box, i had a look a the safari one and i agree that it looks to be very restrictive through the bends having to travel round the other side of the air box and all.
I ordered a 4WD Systems (Airflow)one for my GU Patrol (before I returned to the fold). I thought the production quality so bad that i sent it back. The pipes were all different sizes and somehow were supposed to seal together. The finish was also very rough. Ended up fitting a Safari one; much superior quality and only about $120 more from memory. The one on my D1 I got from Duncans; It is also an Airflow, though the quality seems better. Still a PITA to fit and had to move airbox etc....
I have an airtec on mine been fine for me got it second hand was very pleased with it
well just fitted my airflow snorkel to my D1 today and yeah... was a royal pain. mounting the snorkel wasn't too much of a problem (altough the template was out). The real issue is in having to move the airbox closer to the engine, which then makes it alot harder for it to all fit back together with the square airbox design, still you get what you pay for i supose.
