    Congrats on getting Elmo fixed what happend that he needed fixing I must have mist that thread.
    If it was a falure where there any early signs.
    Just looking at what might happen to me.

    No failure mate . The layshaft bearings are buggered and making a hell of a noise so i just bought a bearing and seal kit . I don't have the time to rebuild it myself so he's going to my mechanics

    Not so noisy? I think the lack of exhaust apart from some straight pipe will ensure its not exactly "quiet" though

    Feels a little wierd not having Elmo parked in the car port . As much as i hate him. I'd be lost without him .... damn land rovers
