    Camshaft belt

    Hi all,
    I have a 98 3.9 V8 Disco,my question,does this motor have a camshaft drive belt and if so ,how often should it be changed.

    It has a chain that does not require routine changing - basically change when it wears out.

    It is a good idea to change the timing chain at the same time you upgrade the cam.

    I used the age of the timing chain as the excuse to upgrade the cam
