    Where does steel wire for A/C go underneath dash?

    DISCO 1.

    Where does this steel wire get hooked onto?

    It has a little circular loop on end.

    Help please??

    If it is the thermostat you are referring to , it goes in the aircon evaporator , inside the fins and touching them.

    Is it the Aircon actuator cable you are referring to?
    A black plastic coated cable with a loop that clips on to the Flap of the unit?

    No, this is not an electrical wire.

    Yes, it is the black plastic coated cable with a loop that clips on to the Flap of the unit?

    It is the steel wire that comes from the A/C modular box to actuate the airbox under the dash.

    I have located where this steel wire is supposed to be connected.

    It is supposed to be mounted on side of air box over a little steel stud (approx 10-12mm) that protrudes out from side.

    Unfortunately, I think this stud is spring actuated and I do not have this spring.

    Can anyone suggest a method of fastening this steel wire back onto side of airbox?
