How reliable is a landrover?

I'd love to find any disco for that kind of price. Grab it!

If you're only considering buying it to pass it off again for a quick dollar, or to flog it off as parts, I don't really see why you're bothering to ask advice.

I'm sure there are many on here who'd be happy to pay a bit more for it and give it the love it deserves.

I hope you haven't just joined to ask advice on if its a worthwhile purchase to make a buck, although with the name passnby I'm guessing you have... if not, my sincere apologies.

it is her car, i know them, not well but well enough to know that she was the one who drove it everyday.

Well of course I just joined to get advice on this, why else would I join a landrover forum, to get the best advice, you wouldnt ask a cat forum how many times you should feed your dog.

Im asking for advice because I want to know what there like, reliability, spare parts, etc etc, and its not like im going to make much on it anyway, im selling it cheaper than what you would think.

LOL, nah dude, you wouldnt you would prolly do what im doing. Same thing happened to me with a hilux 3 years ago, found one fo $500 on a farm and sold it for $2100, just cleaned it up.

somehow I dont think thats going to happen, where I live theres more 4X4's than cars lol, it will be an off road rover for sure.

True, dunno why im asking about it, maybe its the thought of stepping into a new car that I know nothing about besides knowing they look good.

The down side to this as well is that I can see my g/f telling me to keep the rover and sell my hilux, I can see it now.....
