I fitted EBC Greenstuff pads to F&R along with new discs and (narrower bore) stainless braided hoses.
The pads came from Paddocks at about UKP24 a pair.
Stops very well, firmer pedal due to higher line pressure, a bit more dust on the front wheels (I wash it off once a week).
Don't know about the Green Tuff ones but Ive tried just about everything which is commonly available and the Bendix are about the only ones I keep going back to.
Ferodo squeal really really bad as did a couple of other brands which I cant remember what they were but in between each set Ive gone back to Bendix each time.
It seems that every time I want new pads they don't have the Bendix in stock so I buy something else and then spend money again when I'm not happy.
I now have a complete set of spare Ferodo rubbish pads which will get me out of trouble if I need to order new pads in, but that wont be for a while yet.
my discs are about 2 years ol so should have plenty of life in themQuote:

Minimum thickness of rotors is 12mm's, according to the LR Disco Workshop Manual.
Myself, I've always turned back to Bendix too, all the rest seem to squeel like a stuck pig, especially on cold moist mornings and slow decents, but I'm about to replace my rotors with a new set from DBA, not sure which pads to use yet with the new vented discs I'm getting.
