This may sound like a stupid question but I need to know

Ok I have some confusion as to what pads I should be using.......

I have solid rotors Could some please show me what shape I should be using on the front and what shape I should be using on the back

Because I have a nasty feeling I have been running the wrong pads on the front for a long time which I don't whether or not it might explain my crappy brakes and sometimes the over sensitivity of the ABS...perhaps not I don't know

    the disco is a 96my

    Hi Lou!

    DB1176 front, DB1285 rear.
DO NOT use the DB 843 rear as these will not sit in the caliper correctly. They are to suit early RRC ONLY.

    Hi DB,

Just answered this in your other post in the ying/ yang thread.

DB1176 front, and DB1285 rear. There is NO way you can fit incorrect shape pads to the front, but you CAN fit DB843 to the rear, which are most definately NOT to be used as they CAN fall on an angle in the caliper. They are for early RRC ONLY. They look similar but are NOT correct.

Just out of interest, the DB1176 also fit vented front rotor models except Defender which are a larger pad, DB1305.
