I found the solution, thought ill post it up in case others are in the same situation.
When I removed the centrol locking motor I didnt mark its location. So upon placing them back on, they werent in the correct position so that the motor was 'undecided' in which position it should be in, either in or out. This caused the motor to go balistic.
So, when you play around with the centrol locking motor, make sure you mark its original position (mark the bolts / mounting plate against the inner door skin).
BEFORE you place the inner door skin back on, check to make sure the door mechanisms and central locking work as they should.
