    D1 Alarm issues! HELP

I changes the 2 front door lock springs. The problem im having now is that when I lock the disco, it automatically unlocks and the alarm goes off. Can anyone tell me what the problem may be???

I can lock the car with the key on drivers door, no probs. I see the lights flash 3 times. Problem seems to be with the remote.

    Cheers,

I found the solution, thought ill post it up in case others are in the same situation.

When I removed the centrol locking motor I didnt mark its location. So upon placing them back on, they werent in the correct position so that the motor was 'undecided' in which position it should be in, either in or out. This caused the motor to go balistic.

So, when you play around with the centrol locking motor, make sure you mark its original position (mark the bolts / mounting plate against the inner door skin).

BEFORE you place the inner door skin back on, check to make sure the door mechanisms and central locking work as they should.

    Cheers,

    Cheers,

Just read through and saw this Carlos, I was about to get off the PC and ring you to tell you ' have you checked the position of the Actuators??especially the drivers one whch is the signal one?' and there you are, figured it out all by yourself! Who says you don't know anything about anything!

    Well done!
