    3.9/4.6 Cheap Replacement Injectors

New Uprated Injectors for Under AU$300.

These are the same yellow top injectors that FiveO-motorsport sell for
    US$330.

They're the Ford Racing Uprated High Flow Fuel Injectors, 19 lbs/hr EV-1 for 1986-1995 Mustang with EFI 5.0L/4.6L V8 engine that have been mentioned on this forum before.

    Part number M9593-C302 -0

    Price US$209.95 from Mustangs Unlimited.

That's less than AU$300 including freight.

The following thread on Discoweb discusses their use in the Disco 1:

Summit Racing also sell them for US$219.

They can be used to replace the Lucas injectors and provide superior fueling.

The new Bosch Design III injectors are also supposed to work well but they're more expensive and FiveO-motorsport who sell them do not recommend these injectors for 14CUX systems.

In my Supercharged 5.0L Disco I ran.... the same Mitsubishi Injectors from the 4 cylinder 2.6 engines..

In a 4.6 you could run the units from a 3.5 V6 - will have plenty of flow for a 4.6 V8... And cheap!

I think Kevin, the lack of info on the site means not many have had/want to change them,,

    which is good and bad

    If you HAVE to change,
for around 200, I'd be going with the Ford Mustang ones,
only because the results are there,
and the youtube vids are there,

    Thinking in my shoes,
If mine ran on PULP all the time,
I'd be looking at this pretty seriously.

The Mustang yellow top C302s drop straight in and work well. No need for extra O ring seals.
