    Carling (ARB Locker) Switches

    I am looking at getting some Carling switches (same as the ARB locker ones) to control some of the accessories for my car. In my D1 there is a 3 switch blank on the centre console where the ashtray can sit.

    Do the Carling switches fit straight into these blanks and still look neat?

    I don't mind trimming the surround if need be so long as there is enough room for the body of the switch.

    You'll have to make up a small plate to mount the switches....the Carlings are just a bit too wide to fit 3 straight in.
    The switches are available from a number of UK outlets....not sure about your neck of the woods though.
    Lets see what some others can suggest about locating them in Oz.

    Here's what I put in mine. They look okay to me and even illuminate when the dash lights are turned on.

    yeah we just got some from X-eng in a block of 3
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    no not fitted yet...got them for the defenders winch so we have switch ion the cab.

    first impressions they feel very nicely built..i.e good quality
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    You can get them at any ARB shop, they don't just do locker ones.
