    Talking back to the fold

mmmm, I have gone and done it again

couldnt help myself, a well decked out D1 has come up for sale and I couldnt resist, so I bought it even with swmbo approval

I pick it up in a few weeks and I cant wait for it to be staining my driveway...oops I mean gracing my driveway

Its been a while since my last disco went and I have always missed it and the RRC just isnt the same, excellent truck but not the same

this was my last one http://www.aulro.com/afvb/members-ri...co-tassie.html

and I will post some pics of the new one when it gets here. it floats around here at times but I dont think it has been 'exposed' yet. suffice to say that it has a lot of work done on it and will be a treat to drive 'on any sunday'

so, its back to the fold and if I promise to play nicely, can I join the D1 ranks again

Congrats Mark, I hope that it is as nice as you old Red Disco.

I do not know how is your RR but I can telling you that my old 1988 Classic was among the best touring vehicle that I ever have together with the Peugeot.
That does not mean that my old disco or my present Defe are bad just that I would love to have the 3, the RRC, the Disco and the Defe
It is going to be a tourer

    Talking maybe

    tourer...umm maybe maybe not

the plan is to belt the hell out of it in winter on the simex's and do some 'touring' in summer with the camper and family on some road orientated muddies like a STT or something..will see how the budget recovers

ur right Scott, maybe one day I will grow up.....no promises

picked the new disco up this morning. Big thanks to Carlos aka Stooge for running me down to pick it up, thanks mate

she drives a treat, even on the simex's they aren't that bad

I dont actually have a pic of it yet but here's one Stooge took this morning after we flexed it up at a local carpark. This pic is stolen from Stooges thread and hopefully he can post a flex pic for ya all
