I dont mean to sound like i might be correcting you, but you guys KNOW all about our Discos so I am keen to learn, there really only two ways to learn, make a nice mistake or ask a question.

Any help you could give me would be great.

I'm trying to imagine how you will be stuck with both rear wheels off the ground, I dare say awkwardly

your springs shouldn't fall out with a sway bar on......by taking the sway bar off I think you gain something like an extra inch possibly two in travel this allowing in some set ups for the spring to unseat...in my experience though it happened on one side more than the other

Also at full travel on the front you will just touch your front prop on the front sway bar, but all i have noticed is a little rubbing on my prop shaft.
And yes learn from my mistake(s), fit either a spacer or extended bumpstops before any serious offroading to prevent shock failure. You should also need to keep in mind the rear springs will dislocate if you do choose to disconnect the rear sway bar in the future.

We parked the two Discos back to back after we were done and my Disco was clearly a bit higher, mine still hasn't come to a carpark it couldn't make it into.

Also, I've got pretty much the same suspension setup, yet have never had a spring dislocate let alone shift with the swaybar disconnected.

I guess it depends on how you 4wd.....

Well yeah did happen to me once when i was seeing how much wheel articulation i could get with the rear swaybars disconnected, so needless to say i now have jubee clamps in place just in case, hasn't been a problem since.

in my case not that I have the same brand 2" lift I snapped the jubilees on mine twice!

so I went around for I don't know how long with the spring tied in with a baggage strap.....I know have relocation cones in....

not for max articulation but so I know when that spring comes loose I have something to put it back where it belongs.

keithy I tell you what for 99bux I think I paid of Psimpsons they are seriously well made bit of kit and much more reliable than the jubilee clips would highly recommend them..only issues with them is noise reseating the spring

no i didn't mean you drive like a softy.....you may go hard but keithy may of just gone through stuff that articulates the car more that's all...as it happens he purposly articualted the car.

But in my set up the spring popped out often! so would surely suggest that my car would find it easier to articualte then yours.

Wasn't a critisim...just not everyone 4wd's the same and there for have the cars beahve in different manors...

I have had people tell me they get no rubbing on 265/75's yet I can get rubbing on 245/75's so there is another example
