here you go guys, the famous 300tdi vacuum pump fix page that i created,

Its pretty easy to do, but use hex head bolts not phillips head ones like i used in the page, i have since redone mine and its been fine for about 3yrs, weaps a little but bit doesnt drip out like it used to.
As for taking it off and putting back on, as muddymech said its easy. Just take the old one off and if you have issued getting the new one or the repaired one back on rotate the crank with a big spanner till it lines up with the camshaft a bit easier allowing you to line up the bolt holes better.

Got mine replaced a couple of months ago - had to for roadworthy as it was p*****g out oil everwhere... I paid about $300 for the part and got it done along side of a few other things... Disco hasn't leaked since.
