someone has already posted a link of this from a webiste that gives you all the details but can't remember the thread title.
if someone does remember it should get it put in the good oil
I have just got the info needed to extract and clear fault codes on the ABS of a D1 I tried this today and it works.
Because it is a PDF file I cannot post it on this forum in a way that is understandable.
Anyone who wants this info can either post or PM me their email and I will forward it on.
Just a brief description: If you bridge pin 5 and 15 on the diagnostic plug this will initiate the fault codes by flashes of the ABS light.
The PDF file gives all the codes and how to erase them.

ABS DIAGNOSTIC.pdf
I got a pm from some one saying that my image shack thingy in my previous post does'nt work. I reread Rons post about uploading PDF's and gave it a try. So here it is. Hope this works
Dave.
G'day Dave,
Thanks for sending that to me.
I tried doing what it says in the PDF but the Antilock light just stays on. Interestingly, even the book says the light should come on, then go off for 0.5s and then come on again until you exceed 7km/h - but mine doesn't do the off bit - so I wonder if it's the ABS system that's at fault or some logic in the dash that's not working properly...
Looks like I'll need to take it to someone who can read the codes out.
BTW, mine is a 96 Disco 1, with the black 16 pin diagnostic plug - does that mean it's OBD2?
Cheers,
Steve
Ah, I got it...
On mine I have to bridge pin 5 and 15 AND remove the ABS relay (as documented somewhere else, but not on the LR PDF document). Fun eh?
So I got 2-12 :- LHF Sensor Failure... Bugger, means I'm in for more cash it seems!
Thanks to everyone for their help though!
Steve.
