I'm running 31x10.R15s (equivalent to 265/70R16s) mud tyres on my D1 with 2" lift. They're mounted on 15x7" rims with P19 offset. Note that the offset will have a big effect on what will fit. Stock D1 rims are 16x7" P33. With the P19 offset it pushes the tyres outboard a bit (14mm) and a Camel Cut just won't cut it (Geddit...?) - as it also rubs on the front upper "corner" of both rear guards. Front tyre clearance is totally OK. Note also that technically the amount of lift is irrelevant, unless you extend your bump stops or limit suspension travel in some way.
I'm limited to 31s due to my auxilliary fuel tank in the rear wing... rubs as it is :(
