Flexes up fairly well. ATM standard sized dampners are stopping both extension and compression

there are poly bushes on mine at the moment and they are flogged out, I spoke to the previous owner who fitted them and he said they havent been on there that long.....not sure why they havent lasted I suspect its because of the simex's, as all the front end bushes were flogged out as well.

I have just replaced the panhard rod bushes as well as the radius arm bushes and it steers and handles like new.

It is rear steering now and when I put some pics of the rear bushes up, you will see why

Hope to get the angled LRA bushes in this afternoon.

    cheers

Congratulations on hitting the 1000 post mark Mark .

If you spent more time on the tools than on the keyboard, you'd have had them fitted by now though .

well, they are done. the LRA angled rangie bush just bolted straight into the disco chassis. piece of cake.

    some pics

    passenger side

    before

    after

    drivers side

    before

    after

while I was under there, I put a 30mm coil spacer on the rear drivers coil and hey presto, I have a level car again my last disco had ther landrover lean as did the 2 door rangie on the same side, must be a common issue with them.

yeah JC, those bushes you gave me are the right ones, I just have no way of pressing the old ones out here at home so its just another thing I need to do. Now that the chassis bushes are changed, it drives a whole lot nicer now. I dont see an urgent need to change the rear ones but it is something I will do sooner rather than later.

thanks mate, as usual you are the GOD
