If the symptoms were as you have described them in previous posts, then the bits that generate the injection pressure - rollers and things - will probably have started to disintegrate, loss of hardening, splitting, cracking and all other means of stuffup.
To repair such a beast, it's a dismantle in a clean room and rebuild and recalibrate it. No simple way to just do perhaps the bit that's busted.
Hilux and other vehicles with Bosch rotary mechanical injection pumps require the same treatment.

Well i took the beast out yesterday for a bit of a play and can only say that i am one very happy chappy right now. The disco did not fault once, i had the power there and i even forgot to put it in low range as she just kept going without a problem.bit of black smoke when she starts to load up but when going up the hills i didnt see anything and the same with the other guys i went with. Tomoz i'm going back to get my accelerator cable changed over and done with.

Just gave the disco a well deserved service and she is running smooth than ever before I reckon. Just goes to show what a little TLC could do to your rig if you look after it....
