If you buy 1989-93 Disco Manuals 0n CD from the Heritage Motor Centre, be aware that they will not work on Windows Vista (and they do mention this fact). The only way I could use them is load them on a computer with XP and print them to a PDF printer. The major difference I have found is there are a few more drive belts in this manual that helped me for starters.
I have the Haynes, the Factory manuals and the CD from this site. The Haynes is good for fault finding and the well laid out wiring diagrams. The CD is impossible to use on the side of the road if you do not have laptop. Spinning it on your finger and trying to decode it does not work.
The Cd will be useless for electrical faults as if won't have correct wiring info. colouring is different The Cds are for the 95 updates.Quote:
