Replacing carpet with spray on rhino lining

well as the title says i am considering pulling out my carpet and doing so, but not too sure if its the best idea, would it trap water underneath causing rust? if anyone has has experience with this stuff. Reason for doing so is i am over vacuuming not that i do it that often, most of all i want an interior i can pressure wash out!

a mate of mine has a landcruiser troopy, when he bought it new (18 months ago), he had the carpet taken out and had the whole floor and side panels sprayed with rhino lining, and he does hose his out after a day of 4wding or whatever, its good stuff

its a bit industrial looking though, i suppose it depends what you are after

if done from new its worth having, if you have any moisture under it (IE rust already forming) then its not as sucessful.

Ive ripped out all my rear seats and caged the back of my car.

I used k&h sound deadener. Wasn't really great but it has done the job.

It's not really the same type if product as the rhino liner, so you will probably find that stuff to work better.

I made sure before i applied the product that i sanded back & primed the floor.

    Cheers
    Dave.

rhino linings are EXPENSIVE! try hippo liner, ive used it and its brilliant (search for hippo liner on here)
and i found another kit from POR15, their kit is simmillar price to the hippo kit but you get twice as much.

it will stick to anything and its as tough as nails!

    cheers phil

Ive got hurculiner to do my floor, its pretty similar stuff, i havnt actualy got around to that part of the rebuild yet... it was alot cheaper then 1500 to buy, IIRC it was about 300 shipped? that ammount will do everything inside a 110 to the top of the seat boxs and rear tubs, Theres actually another user on here who did this recently as well in a 110....
