Probably not - the 3.9 started to be fitted to Disco's earlier than 93. If the rear axle end is domed, it's 10 spline. Flat rear axle end is fine spline. Front axle end domed, ditto 10; Dust cap, fine spline.
A 1993 D1 that came out with a 3.9 engine .
Is this likely to have the 24 spline diffs?
In other words did the change from 10 to 24 spline occur the same time as 3.5 to 3.9 engine
Thanks Luke

Just rip one of the rear axles out (5 bolts) than you can be shore

Some of the interim D1s (3.9s) that were sold from about Oct 93 to May 94 in Australia had 24 splines some had 10 spline. This was the change over period. The first series of D1s were all 10 spline, the updates were all 24 spline but the interims could have been either (however most were 10 spline).
