G'Day all, See my attachment .This Fumoto Plug is available for landrovers. I have had one in for a while now and it has suffered no damage to date, even after doing the Telegraph Track to Cape York. It makes life a lot easier for the sump drain but I have no answer for the filter except the milk bottle trick.
Their web site is fumoto.com.au

dig a trench in the ground, then line it with plastic ( one peace) drive over, then dump all the oil you want into the trench. hose down the diff cross member etc with degreaser etc, replace plugs and refill.
back off. then using my fandangled oil recovery pump and filter, pump into the fuel tank ( first 15 liters) the balance into a jerry can.
wipe off plastic fold for next time
head down to the servo to top off the tank. its also good at keeping back tailgaters.
the milk bottle come in handy for the R380 too.
cut the bottom off at 45 degrees, you can then hold it between the prop shaft and the drain plug.
a 3l bottle works even better, start cutting the bottom off at 90 degrees, when you get half way thru the bottle turn 45 degrees up so it wraps around the side of the gearbox.
leave the cap off and use it to channel the oil into your drain pan.
In the UK I changed my normal sump plug for a Drainplug from Diff lock.
After you removed the cover from the Drainplug you need to screw on a Drainplug Hose, as you screw on the hose, it opens the value in the Drainplug to let the oil out. You put the other end of it straight into the drain can.
It made oil changes so much easier.

I do not know if they ship to Oz.
Cheers,
Phil.
grab a 2l milk bottle.
cut the handle off near the neck
cut the opposite side to the handle off
slide it under the oil filter
put your catch can under the handle of the bottle
drill about 6mm hole in the bottom of the filter with a stub bit in a pnuematic drill
while you go about doing the tappet check let it drain then spin it off as per normal
then once youve removed the filter turn the milkbottle around and use it to do the same trick on the sump.
