    The lion ROARS!!!!!!! AGAIN

    What a difference a new Viscous fan coupling makes!
    I never realised that you tend to become used to the sound of your engine as years go by. The disco would start and there was a slight roar of the fan for a couple of seconds then nothing.
    I fitted a new Viscous Fan Coupling and immediately I realised that all was not well with my old one. The ROAR from the new one is so loud now. And it will roar from start up until approx 1km down the road until it get's warm.
    So now the lion Roars again. I bet there are a lot of Discos out there that don't even realise their viscous is not operating to peak performance.

    Good to here. Mines the same as I just got it back together and now also geting that roar for about 1 minute after start up. (That's when I can get it started but that another story)

    Good to here thing are getting sorted.

    Let those Disco's ROAR with pride!!!

    Yours is a V8 yeah?

    Did you use a genuine replacement or aftermarket?

    I used an aftermarket, but then again it could well be an OEM without the LR stamping and price
