    see here

    Disco Tire Fitting Guide

Also do a search for a Camel Cut. It's worth doing and only takes off a minor amount of guard.
To get away without trimming, you're pretty much limited a 29" tyre, which in anything other than road tyres are pretty useless

yeah i dont really want to cut into any thing. one of my mates was saying if i got some 15" sunraisya's made to fit i could prob get away with 31x9.5. it wont be used as a hardcore 4wd. but i still need it to go places.

31s will be fine if you only go to flat places.

I've seen standard 235/70/16s rub the rear 1/4 on full articulation so get the snips/grinder out .

Sorry, but your mate is incorrect....

Minimum tyre to make it worthwhile is 245-75-16... You'll need to snip some alloy out the way (camel cut)...

It works out very neat and is well worth the exercise...

If your not willing to cut it theres not much you can do...

Fitting anything over stock will soon modify your guards for you if you dont cut...

BTW - Lift doesnt allow larger tyres, it just changes the static height.
The wheel can still move through all the original arc of travel....
