    hi

    i am looking for a template for ss350 hf safria snorkle
    i brought a second hand snorkle didint have any fitting instruction
    i rang arb they want 120.00 what a rip of for bit of papper

    any info would be great

    I'm also after a template for a non abs V8 model. Safari refuse to supply. I'm hoping my local 4wd shop can get one or anyone out there have one to borrow

    I may be able to help, I'll find out early next week.
    Safari don't supply the templates anymore, nor do they really do spare parts anymore either.

    i went the safria web site and looked up the one that suites my car then i cut and pasted and blew it big enought to fit

    First off, it's a Safari Snorkel, not ARB, They are rediculously expensive to buy for a very good reason.

    There are now "cheap" snorkels commonly available through ebay and the like. Often they even have the Safari number on them. However they also have a very poor finish (I have seen one forst hand for an 80 Series with holes alongside the nutserts on the back of the body of the snorkel) and use a non stabilised plastic.

    Unfotunately the way around the copyright issue is for them to supply them without fitting templates.... Hence the reason why the templates are rediculously expensive or not available.
