Thread: Disco 2 front propshaft grease points

It is mine, the pic is of the end of the shaft immediately behind the front diff bulb, from memory there is at least one more where the shaft couples with the transfer. So in total, I'm looking for 3 nipples in the front drive shaft?

Ok, went on another adventure, uni toward the front of the prop shaft has one grease point, uni towards the rear where it meets the transfer case hade two, on opposite sides of the shaft
Am I sitting pretty?

looks like it. Would be 2 uj' in the rear joint, each with a grease nipple usually on opposite sides. discolaw

The DC joint with grease nipples added

I'll get a pic of mine when I get underneath her in about half hour, my nipples are on opposite sides I believe

There's my joint, nipple either side, it would seem the chirping though is coming from the front joint, busted rubber boot. Greased her up anyways & will order a new one tomorrow.

My g. nipples are both on the same side, less need to reposition things when using the grease gun. If the shaft has been balanced to suit there should be no problems & I have never had any vibration issues.
