What exactly are the symptoms of the problem? Have you noticed any fuel leaks? Did you purge the fuel of air properly? Did you notice teh lack of power after the service? If you are still hearing the same sound as the purging then possibly you have not cleared all the air - although I would think this is unusual if you can start it up and drive around normally....

Nah no fuel leaks, and the noise has since stopped. Did notice on the nanocom though that a maf fault open circuit was present, don't know why though as I have changed it recently, cleared it and it hasnt returned.
Might try a new fuel filter, just seems like it isnt pulling the way it has done before, although it revs out to 4200.
How do you check fuel delivery?????
Thanks Bronson

I think you'll get MAF open circuit if you turn ignition on before you plug the new one in (as I did ). Fuel delivery as far as I know if it is up to pressure then car goes okay, if not it is a complete dog - getting it to rev out is not possible (well, when my pump died that was the case!). Luckily started to go intermittently but when the pump was in failure mode you could have walked faster than the car!
