    Disco Key button replacement

Just thought I'd share some joy I just had with my disco's key,
I ordered a replacement silicon pad off ebay, this works really well, problem being the 2 switchs on the electronic card were stuffed so I went down to jaycar electronics and found a suitable replacement switch Part number SP0611 I had to trim the terminals almost flush with the base of the new switch so I could solder it back in nicely and also had to trim the new silicon button part slightly otherwise it would have been constantly pressing the button but otherwise a very cheap and easy fix

    Silicon pad $37
    Replacement switches P/N SP0611 95c each

    Hope this helps someone else
    Cheers Tim

Thanks for that switch part No. I need one to replace a switch in one of my D2 key fobs

Are you talking about the D1 or D2 key fob?

Edit:- I see you posting in the D2 section so I assume your talking about the D2 key fob.

For information, if your after the key pads the company is POLMEX and you can generally buy them cheaper directly ($33) than through their Ebay store.
