mate you come to the same prob i had, i orded 2" lift shocks, witch i expected to be 2" longer for the new lift, b4 i fitted them i looked agenst the old ones and same length,,, i rung the people over this and they say that standed length is enough for 2" lift,, but i say there not 2" lift shocks then are they
,
cos you can buy standed length ones, so whats the diff i sead, nothing, just the colors of them,
in the end they did send me some new shocks that are 630mm all round, and am very happy with the way they feel,

I dont mind if they are ok to use but when I put the springs in I had to compress them to even do up the shocks.
I also realised that I paid the extra money for the extended ones but was given standard units so I should probably get a refund on them.

Is anyone aware of longer shocks that will give a nice ride like the standard Bilstein units.
I am extreamly pleased with how the disco handles but I want that extra articulation.

Well after driving for one day on the shocks I was supplied they where quickly removed and I swapped them today for the longer Bilsteins.
So now the car doesnt top out over every bump and hole and actually flexes like a 2" lift should.
