You can only go on the LHS (passenger side) as the driver's side is a bit hard to access. Only one side needs to be disconnected. I might be keen to go halves with you if you want Aaron...I am on the other side of the country though.
Hi Hendrick,
Are the disconnects side specific? If you purchase a pair but only use one can the other be used by another owner hence halving the cost?

As mentioned already, if you have ACE, the system goes "limp" when offroad (low box) so no real need for disconnects on those vehicle imo.
Hi UP, no Ace here or sls .... I liked your Vid on you tube in the quarry!![]()
Ah so standard roll bars then .............so disconnects would give you some more articulation......heres an "idea" of what extra can be achieved....
quick disconnect - discovery series II
Thanks for the vid commentwhich one did you watch ? the reversing one

Vid was in the quarry with some steep sand and mud climbs in car camera you made it, later on you needed a snatch when you came out of the ruts near the crest.... Mitsubishi Pajero did not fare as well when it backed up for the run up....![]()
Now thats showing off!
I tried that on a soft sand dune at a beach down south over easter... ended up with a hell of a lot of sand over and through the car with not much in the way of movement besides towards china....(down)
Gearing seems a lot different in auto between 1st and reverse on sand in low.. Is it?
With ACE aren't the sway bars locked when reverse is selected?
Or is that only when in high range?
