Just be aware that using aluminium against steel will cause galvanic corrosion - ie it will induce rust into the chassis.
Its the same principle as some aspects of galvanising and very similar to the use of sacrifical anodes in boats, except steel will rust in place of the alumiumium oxidising further. You see this a lot in the doors or series landys where the frame is steel and the skin is ally.

The Ali blocks have had a "coating" applied to them to prevent that, thats what the newspaper was for in the top piccy, something else available at work :)
Other option is simply paint them before install, easy enough to do.
The problem with steel against ali is all over most vehicles, steel bolts in ali blocks / heads, steel bolts in the ali components "bolted" on to the engine etc etc........its VERY hard to avoid the 2 coming together completely. Its a BIG issue in aircraft, and most bolts have a cadnium plating applied to prevent the corrosion where possible, my old Audi A8 had warnings all over it and used special fasteners / bolts here and there for the same reasons, as that had a full ali space frame.
What is the coating you used? I am familiar with Duralac - which works well, but your coating isn't yellow.
I recently removed an alloy bullbar from a 110. Both bolts which held the bar to the chassis on one side had corroded down from 10 ? mm to almost nothing :eek:
I used a spray on corrosion preventetive product, its under the "Dinitrol" name, aircraft structures are 95% covered in it, its sticky goes nice an hard and displaces water superbly
