Now just wanted to clarify a couple of things in relation to it's useage.
- Push lever directly across to left CDL light comes immediately on, perfect. However the light is RED. Is this normal based on most other lights are orange, and some lights are meant to turn red when there is a major issue?
- With lever on the left side Low can be selected with CDL light on, all good?
- Take lever back to the right Low can be selected without CDL, perfect.
I assume with the lever pushed across to the left CDL light on but no Low gear selected, that the car can be driven with just CDL activated? Can normal speeds be obtained or only up to certain speeds?
When should just CDL be selected, vs CDL + low range?
Thanks for any help, just want to make sure I get this right and do not break something.
JB.
Yes light is red
you can select the CDL in low or high range and it doesn't matter what order it is done in.
you can select low and high range without CDL selected as before.
You can select CDL in high range and do what ever speed you want as long as it is on a slippery suface (ie) gravel road or sand.
