do you have a sunroof or ACE.
Jason.
I am getting a squeaky rattle that sounds like it is coming just above and a little to the front of the drivers head, in or near the roof. It would be very near the front anchor point of the front roof rail. The rail feels very solid to a firm nudge. Driving along with one hand trying to feel for a vibration on the roof lining has failed to pick anything and no it is not the sun shade. Any suggestions appreciated.

Sorry, have been too busy to get back to this thread until now, but no sun roof , no ACE. I,m still puzzled.
Its not the dash pod that is squeaking by any chance, the screw that holds the pod , which is located in line with the steering wheel gives way, and drives you mad, if it hasnt has a dose of silicone!
Just a thought

Try adjusting the height of your seat belt...
Sounds strange I know!
Can only say that I have put a hand to the pod while driving and have not been able to feel it or stop it. It may be anything but sounds like something squeaking and tapping the roof just a little bit heading back from where the sun visor is. It does not have ACE but if all models have the wiring I am guessing that it would come up the A pillar and that seems just a little forward of the noise.
John W,
I have a similar rattle and its the black sheet metal cover on the pillar to the right of the windscreen on the outside. Sorry that's such laboured description but not sure what to call it. I haven't looked closely but from a quick look not sure how to remove to tighten what I assume are clips which I stretched pushing the car forward in my garage from the open driver's door. Now it rattles from what seems like the roof/sunvisor.

Silly me, found an old pair of glasses long forgotten in the map pocket above the sun visor, now removed no more rattle. woops.
