Are the wires broken off right at the sensor leaving no coloured insulation?
V8 or TD5? It might help someone help you.
Edit:
If its a TD5 then use a multimeter to measure the output voltage across the 2 outputs whilst cranking the engine which will determine which output is positive. The pink/black wire goes to the positive output and the white/blue wire goes to the negative.
V8 is basically a guess. If you can identify the earth shield wire, the other 2 can be connected either way but the ignition will be advanced 3 degrees if incorrectly wired.
