Think mines as bog stock as they come. Haven't done a thing to it yet.
    Check my Photobucket page.

Hey Tony, on here you would get away with what you have written....outside of here.....it would be ripped to shreds. If you are making a DVD on Land Rovers.....it may be an idea to have some knowledge on the particular vehicle.

For one....restored disco's......doubt anyone is out restoring D2's yet...considering they are at most an 11 yr old vehicle. All D2's the same...aside from manual and auto....really? What about V8's and TD5, or D2 and D2a, ACE/NON ACE. CDL...no CDL. 5 seat...7seat....Coil....Airsprung.

My point is that I am well aware that you are young. I also have a D2a.....but based on what you have written....and how it is written.....wouldn't even think about offering my vehicle. It is lazy, off the cuff and not much thought put into how you are presenting your idea. Therefore in my minds eye....any DVD...would be much the same.

    Regards

No, I don't think harsh at all....if anything I would take it as good advice, maybe I am just not good at sugar coating things. If you are out to achieve something, then you should take the time to a) communicate your intention and b) take the time and effort to show you have an idea of what you are on about.

Instead of responding with...yep...really should have taken a bit more care with my request.......the response is "well I cut and paste yada yada." As it stands, this is the only post I have seen.....so not aware of 13 other threads. Also not aware that it had something to do with raising money for AULRO.

So when I read it, as I am sure others....would have looked at it and gone "What tha". That is the fault of the OP as no thought went into doing it properly...that is subsequently being lazy....not pushed for time. A minute extra would have made that a) readable and b) expressed a clearer intention. Look at that post purely on it's own and without any of the other information presented afterwards and tell me it's acceptable? So if you don't think it is acceptable you can keep quiet or you can say "hey.....maybe think about doing it this way with the endeavour of ideally helping the person."

Horses for courses...some folk like to slap things together and fingers crossed.....others like to take more effort and time to ensure they get the best result. Good luck with it,

    Regards

    Stevo
